There is no certain evidence for how long the Ofnerhof has been existing. What we know for sure, though, is that it did exist in 1669. An ancient fresco on the façade is witness to this. The Ofnerhof has been inherited from generation to generation for more than 300 years now, always cherished and cared for with affection. Marked by its eventful history, 2019 was an important year for the Ofnerhof. Full of idealism, we had been planning extensive renovation work over several years till we finally implemented it with the help of professional experts. It is a privilege to us to own such a honorable house, and at the same time a commitment to preserve a piece of South Tyrolean history for future generations.

The farmer's family as well as cows and calves, cats, chickens and a rooster are living on the Ofnerhof.
